College life was so chill,
Back benches were always a thrill
Lectures were like a sleeping pill,
I dreamt as if I was on top of the hill
We all were so much in peace,
Our mgmt were behind us like police
They wanted us to be on a faster lane,
And forced us to enter the corporate game
Internship was all we were suppose to take,
Impress our manager‘s forsake
I thought it would be a piece of cake,
But realized business is like a poisonous snake
I entered the office with full of grace,
People were in their own intellect space
I looked at each and every stressed out face,
I felt I was too young for the corporate race
Cubicles were calling me,
Systems were staring at me
Lights were dim and the AC was on,
It was a weird feeling, but I had to move on
I felt like I was being locked in a jail,
Wanting someone to give me a bail
I missed all my friends and all the fun,
But then, I realized this company is my life in the long run!!
Another master piece by Ganesh Manjunath i enjoyed reading it throughly :)
